Apprenticeships have evolved dramatically and are not just for school leavers looking to train for a trade. They are work based qualifications whereby you learn, study, and develop your knowledge in a specific sector and job role, whilst doing the job itself. Allowing you to put the knowledge you gain from the qualification in to practice instantly.
Doing an apprenticeship would support your growth and development within the business you work for. It will give you the knowledge and behaviours necessary to progress within your role, and work towards the next stage in your career.
Within apprenticeships, groups of employers in each specific industry came together to create ‘Apprenticeship Standards’ which is a nationally recognised training programme, mapped to a specific role within a huge range of industries, including care.

Levels 2 and 3 are taught by a blended approach of Online, Virtual and in person learning.
Levels 4 and 5 are taught 100% remotely.
Your current job role will determine the appropriate level of standard for you.
For example, if you are a supervisor, you would be best suited to the Level 3 ‘Lead Adult Care Worker’ standard. Our expert Admissions Team will be able to work with you to ensure you are doing the right standard for your job role.
During admission you will be given a dedicated, industry expert coach to support your learning and development from day 1. In conjunction with your line manager, they will teach you, guide you, support you and be on hand to help you to achieve maximum results.

The Apprenticeship Standards are designed to compliment your daily responsibilities and during your apprenticeship you will need to provide evidence and examples of knowledge obtained or skills acquired. Your expert coach will support you through various methods of gathering evidence. This could be in the form of an assignment, a practical observation, an email trail and so on. Your coach will discuss with you what is required and support you every step of the way.
We also have MAPP- Myrus Apprenticeship Progress Platform, which will further support you in ensuring you are able to achieve maximum results, as smoothly as possible.
After the successful completion of your apprenticeship you will be awarded a Pass, Merit or Distinction in one of the Apprenticeship in Care Standards, depending on which one you take.
